There is seating in the conservatory and in our beautiful garden for you to sit and relax at any time.
After a good night’s sleep, you can start your day with a hearty Welsh breakfast made with fresh produce, and where possible, sourced locally.
Hay has become famous as a book town and for lovers of literature, on the doorstep, there is an array of shops offering new and second-hand books. There are many activities you can partake in whilst in the area. Besides browsing our many book shops, and independent shops, you can while away the hours in one of the numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants.
For those looking for an active break the area has much to offer. You can walk on Offa's Dyke or on the hills and mountains which surround the town. Horse riding is very popular as is canoeing the picturesque River Wye.
We welcome walkers who are completing Offa's Dyke and also the Wye Valley Walk, as we are near the route of both.
